Alejandro Candioti is an international business lawyer. His practice spans the entire spectrum of business advice, primarily on mergers and acquisitions and contracts. He also advises on joint ventures, privatizations, private funds, corporate reorganizations, and other commercial agreements and their regulatory implications. He routinely involves advising on various corporate and governance matters. Javier Gatto Bicain is a corporate tax lawyer. He deals with all aspects of business tax, with emphasis on tax planning for new ventures and international tax matters. He advises clients in structuring and negotiating significant domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs and financial products. He is experienced in advising and executing complex tax driven corporate reorganizations.
He is also an accomplished tax litigator, having represented clients across virtually all industries in tax controversy disputes with AFIP (the Argentine federal tax bureau) and with various provincial tax authorities. Javier also has extensive experience in foreign exchange control; and in particular, in administrative proceedings on foreign exchange control matters before the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic.

José Antonio Ocantos

José Antonio Ocantos is a business lawyer, with vast experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law and foreign investments. Across his career, he has worked in a wide range of complex corporate reorganizations, divestitures, asset and stock acquisitions, representing both domestic and international clients in various M&A transactions of Argentina.
José’s practice also involves advising on secured and unsecured loans for financing acquisitions, including lending for leveraged buyouts and project finance.

Sebastián C. Jorge Ocantos

Jorge Ocantos is a business lawyer specialized in the civil and commercial law areas, advising clients on court and out of court matters, in the civil, commercial and labor courts. The core of his practice is the insurance and reinsurance law, and has advised clients as an external counsel and also as in house Claims Manager of a major multinational insurance Company. This experience has brought him a great knowledge of the management process of the Business, allowing Jorge to can assist clients individuals and insurance/reinsurance companies.
Jorge published more than 20 articles of different law matters (civil law, insurance, constitutional and philosophy of law) that have been published in argentine law magazines (PrudentiaIuris, La Ley, El Dial, El Derecho, Forum). He has been professor of insurance law at the Universidad Católica Argentina and of contracts at the Universidad de Palermo. Currently he is studying to obtain the doctorate in law at the Universidad Católica Argentina.
